This painting depicts a table with the Messiah at one end offering an invitation to sit with Him and have fellowship. He says: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me”. The table also represents the table awaiting us at the wedding banquet of the bride and Messiah. The elements on the table speak of his identity and are also elements of Shabbat.
